The goal of the LAGN was to Improve relationships, keep properties in shape, and seek out good tenants by gaining legal support, developing an informational base with public data bank, and becoming better educated.

The LAGN set out to achieve these goals by educating landlords, creating a database with tenant references, educating tenants, instilling an awareness of rights and procedures, establishing inspection standards, and improving landlord relationships with Social Services.
